CILogon is used to allow users external to the University of Missouri to access resources managed by University of Missouri Research Support Solutions (RSS).

==== All ====

  - Create ORCID account - [[https://orcid.org/]]
    * Skip to step 2 if from Truman State University
  - Create RSS CILogon account
    * **In an Incognito/Private browser** go to your University's link
      * [[https://registry.itrss.umsystem.edu/registry/co_petitions/start/coef:12|Missouri Western]]
      * Link to Southeast Missouri State University
      * Link to Truman State University
      * Link to Webster University
      * [[https://registry.itrss.umsystem.edu/registry/co_petitions/start/coef:23|Lincoln University]]
    * Select ORCID from the dropdown and login
    * Select approve
    * Continue with the registration, using your work/student email

==== Student ====

  * Send your CILogon UID to your Instructor

==== Researcher  ====

  * Submit account ID to RSS Hellbender Account Request to create account on Hellbender
    * MU team will provide this link once it is ready. It will either be in TDX as an external user or we will just re-use the existing qualtrics form.
