What is CILogon?

CILogon is an identity and access management service that supports login from many identity providers (IdPs), including universities, Google, GitHub, and ORCID.

Requesting RSS CILogon Account

Step 1: In your browser - open an incognito window

Step 2: Go to the CILogon link:

Step 3: You will be taken to a screen to select your identity provider – click on the selection box and choose your organization, then Log On:

Step 4: Authorize Access:

Step 5: You will be re-directed to: https://registry.itrss.umsystem.edu Begin the registration process [use your organization e-mail address]:

Step 6: Complete registration process

Step 7: Consent to Terms and Conditions and Submit

Step 8: Once you hit submit your application will go to an RSS contact who will approve/deny. Once your account is approved – you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Go to MU Hellbender Account request and fill out the form. Please include the CILogon UID that was created in the previous step

Once approved and created - you will receive an e-mail notification from the MU team that your Hellbender account has been created.
